For you
Ty.
I never got to say sorry.
Sorry for not understanding the pain you were in,
So you ended it.
I could only think of the joy,
The joy you brought my mom
I thought selfishly,
Wanting you to stay
The way you told your stories,
They always got us hooked
You’d swear and treat me like an equal
Mom still loves you,
She cries,
And prays for you.
I know you’re watching over us,
Our guardian angel.
Now I hope that
I can make you proud.
Make you as proud as I am,
To call you my second father.
