Looking Back
As I ponder the time I have left,
I wonder if I made the most of my life
And all the wonders the world
Has offered me.
Did I travel to the places I had always wished?
Was I kind to all people?
Did I love so passionately that there was no way to love more?
Was I everything I had wished to be?
It is pointless to dwell on what could have been
For the time has come for me to accept my achievements
My losses, and everything in between.
And, I can honestly say, I lived a damn great life.
