Step Parents
They wait in the stand
For the right moment to
Shoot a kid down
The woods are quiet and peaceful
Leaves swaying and the sun shining
Birds chirping and cool wind
Smell of fresh air and taste of water
Until step parents run in
Like a four wheeler
Over the sticks and leaves
To crush childhoods
They are the ugly cute squirrels
Of the forest
Always bickering and bothering
And stealing their stepkids acorns
Compasses & flashlights
Are used to find the heart of children
And make them bleed
The deer give them advice
On making their step kids lives
As terrible as hell itself
They pick one stepkid to especially
Stomp on with their boots
Their orange has to shine brighter
Than the kid’s
They have to impress their spouse
And camouflage their dark side
Step parents,Step parents ,Step parents
Are hand warmers
That have a goal
Of burning the skin of kids
Until their hunt is finished
