Family
They gave you a name
And taught you to walk.
You were sent to school
And to them you returned,
Every day.
They nursed you in sick,
And encouraged you in health.
To do your best,
To give it your all.
At every sports game they cheered,
Louder than the rest.
You always went home a winner,
To them.
But you’re grown now;
Your name fits you like a glove.
They taught you to walk,
So you would be ready to walk away.
