Step Parents
Step parents are like used cars.
They are good for a little while,
But sometimes,
We have to fix it up before it turns good.
My father married my step mother
When I was 9 years old.
She had one kid of her own,
But she was gone.
Taken from her mom when she was young.
2 years later,
Her mother got her back.
But before then,
My step mother tried her best to be my mom.
Too bad I already had one.
Then jealousy took her over,
And she hated me and my sister with her entire being.
Like a used car with stains.
By the time I was 12,
We were pure enemies.
She hated me, and I hated her.
She was stealing my dad's love for me,
Nothing but lies came out of her mouth,
Trying to make my jealous.
By then I started realizing,
She is a gold digger.
She took his money like a thief.
Like a used car.
A couple years passed by,
I guess she saw, it was time to grow up.
The stain remover came, and the stains were gone.
Now we are on good terms,
She still wants my dad all to herself.
She still spends his money,
When it all gets a little too much.
She knows more about me,
Than anyone else.
