Our Blackly Brightened Minds
Keep looking, just keep looking, little voice we hear.
Just a little further now.
Yes, right there!
Into the clear darkness1 of the opening in front of us.
An opening it is, right?
Well, at least it should be.
No one said it isn’t!
I think…
Perhaps…
Wouldn’t you agree?
For I certainly do.
Whatever your clear voice says, so that you may brighten the black2 of our minds.
Or at least those you may anyway.
Oh, the others I am now thinking of, the scoundrels, the rats – the ravens3!
The wretched weed4 of our otherwise peaceful garden!
Indeed?
The foolish stray sheep5 – those which wander, and leave the herd?
Indeed, little truthful voice, concurs beforehand my blackly brightened mind.
