Now mom may miss my thirteenth
Dad served
Mom helped
Now mom is ill
Dear god please help me
One
Three
Thirteen
I’m a birthday candle
That’s just been blown out
All those birthday wishes
Never came true
Just a little girl
In her white little dress
With only one of her parents
And a store bought cake
I can't rewrite the past
It’s just one day
Out of 365
That I won’t forget
