Being Fair
I was running late to my class
I don’t really like that class
Because the teacher is unfair
And that makes me feel left out.
The class has a lot of kids in it and the room is small
By the end of the day I can smell their stinky bodies
Back packs are all over the place,
On the backs of chairs and on the floor.
The problem started because of a missing assignment
I checked Power School
And saw I had a zero
It stared at me like an empty cookie jar
I asked the teacher for my missing assignment
“You didn’t give it to me,” I stated
She responded with an impatient tone, “That is your fault for not being here.”
“Please go to your seat.” she demanded.
I felt frustrated and not treated fairly
Like my head was going to blow.
I sat down, put my elbows on the table
And rested my head in my hands
From this experience I learned that teachers can be rude
They are suppose to be nice and treat kids with respect
I didn’t talk to that teacher much after that.
I just did my best to turn my work in on time.
