Free Flying
You are the clouds on my horizon.
The first thing I see,
the one I can count on the most.
You’re always there,
I look at you
before looking at me.
I put you before myself,
forever and always.
But now you’re gone,
and I’m lost without you.
I don’t know what to do.
I soar through the horizon,
looking for you,
but you are nowhere to be found.
And now I’m falling,
father and farther.
I’m dying without you,
but even when I die,
I’ll fly.
I’ll fly bigger and better
going higher each day.
I’m learning to live without you
and it’s better than ever before.
