Little princess
There was a little princess who wandered here and there, looking for the marvelous
Her gift was extraordinary, seeing the light in everything.
All the kingdom wished they could see the world in a different shade
Instead of the dull grey it had become.
Childhood is a special thing, meant to be cherished and spent in good spirit.
Some wish to take away the joy, in hopes it might rub off on them.
For her however, the light could never dwindle, never go out.
That is of course, till she grew up.
The little princess grew into a weary queen
All she saw were shades of color that knew no love.
Now the kingdom knows her as the little princess who grew up and saw that the world wasn't what she thought it was.
