When I was
10yrs old
Something very tragic happened
To me
My mom died
My mom was only 45
And had C.O.P.D.
Glaucoma
Asthma
And smoked cigarettes
All those things
Caused her to have
A heart attack
My mom was cremated
I have her ashes
Sealed in a locket
My mom grew up
In Marlboro MA
My mom was always
In bed
The day my mom died
I was in
School when it happened
I got off the bus
And my sisters friend
Said she
Was watching us
I go home and
Nobody but me my
Brother and my sisters
Friend is there
A half hour later
My sisters came home
Brought me and nick
To my moms room
And told
Us “ Courtney
And nick, mom
Passed away”
Now it was
April 7th
So i thought
They were
Just playing a
Prank on us
So in tears i
Walked around
The house
Looking for my
Mom when
I realized they
Were being serious
I sat on
The floor and
Broke down in
Tears i
Cried so hard
I felt myself
Starting to hyperventilate
