Tommorrow Again
I am a stubborn starfish.
As slow as a sea slug.
With prickly thorns as sharp as a cactus
and I am as lazy as a sea cucumber.
I start my journey to my rock,
where i watch the water rise and fall,
and other sea creatures wander past me.
But never say hi.
As i sit on my rock,
watching the waves roll over me
and sea urchines falling off rocks like they're bunge jumping,
the sun starts to set.
I wander home,
I waddle in
and sleep till the next day
Until I begin my trek again tommorrow.
