Life & Lessons
You couldn’t begin
To learn
That the voice of a child
Would never wonder,
But never fade.
It was summertime,
And children played with their friend
The day’s triumphs on their faces,
Delighted.
You never really know a man until you stand in his shoes,
And there wasn’t much else left for us to learn.
