The Public Square
The sky looks ash blue
As if there was going to be a storm
Knowing there’s going to be thunder by the boom
Our warm dark eyes freeze over the sight of gloomy clouds
The love of family smells like cumulus cotton
The smiles on their faces make me feel like a cool midtone
Love is a journey
We are the ambiance of the world
Standing together like mixed fruit
Filling the whole world with our big square,
Being a big family, we will be famous one day
We will be looking like fuchsin, dark and faceless
We are in the outer banks away from the world
Feeling happy, and excited to be reunited again
Loving each other like the smell of a pink peach
The love makes our family dance
Even more than usual
