Forever
Death.
It comes like a bullet,
Penetrating the chest.
One minute you're there, breathing and living.
The next you're suffering on the ground forever.
Lying in a pool of warm, crimson red blood.
The noises around you are fading and fading.
Until there is nothing left to hear forever.
Your pale eyelids drift open and closed,
Staring at the beautiful blue sky.
Full of white puffy clouds.
But then everything goes black.
Nothing but darkness forever.
