Invisible Disease
I have scars on my body and tears in my eyes. I am a prisoner in my own mind. I shake with fear when I hear laughter, and I always want to hide. Everyday is hard, and every night is impossible. I may sleep, but my body gets no rest. I am so terrified of failing, I cannot even try. It is no joke, and it is not easy. But, this is what it is like to live with an invisible disease.
