Nature Prevails
Your tall trees touch the sky
Your leaves dance on the branches
You are abundant with nature’s skyscrapers
You’re beautiful
Still adorned with raindrops from the night before
As if nature was staying up late,
Preparing for a summer party
I would die if something happened to you
You’re beautiful
Squak a bird!
She lives in your tree,
preparing a meal for her babies
The sun shines on a little bunny
You’re beautiful
But sometimes The Father takes the light away
And for a moment
The party is over
The birds fly away
The sun goes down
But at night, you light up
Listen!
For the birds still chirp
And the bunnies still hop
And your leaves still dance
They want to tear you away from me
As if our love cannot thrive
As if men can destroy what He has made so easily
I’m sorry you’re clearly misunderstood
Stand tall, forest
Let your magic live on

A romantic-style poem about how nature is beautiful. When it comes to nature vs man, nature's beauty lives on.
