America,
The polluter
The contaminator
The creator of destruction to mother earth
Yet we say, “God bless America!”
America,
Throwing it’s money into the military
Creating not peace but war
Lives being shot away.
Yet we say, “God bless America!”
America,
Has the poor getting poorer
And the rich getting richer
Yet we say, “God bless America!”
But don’t worry,
We have our grills to grill away our worries
Entertainment to escape the reality
So go on and continue saying “God bless America!”
