simply simple
I am simply a girl who lives in a complex world, where the word simple holds a different meaning. I am a simple girl, brunette, brown eyes, short, wears the same pair of torn convers everyday. Simple, or simply invisible. I live in between whispered nothings and panted breaths. I am there, you can hear me, but I am not present. I am a lost soul seeking for reasurance and guidance. "what is your name?" you ask, but I do not answer. Soon your words will be lost beneath my ignorance, deep down where the roots of a tree grows or where the life of the perished lie rot. I am a simple girl, or a girl who is simply simple. I am beautiful but not pretty, beautiful in the way I speak. I am trapped, suffocating under this layer of skin that does not define me. I am not beautiful, it isnt the right definition, its more than less its just wasted oxygen, dead heartbeats, and softened scents. It is beautiful but it isnt, its abstract. I am abstract. you may love me, you will say "I see the stars in your eyes" but I will correct you, saying, "I am a star" for I am washed out, burnt, and dying. I am simply simple, I skip off of words as if to own them. simple.
