The old are forgotten the young are begotten
Fresh colors and scents bring adventure and learning
Nature displays its full Beauty
As the surroundings are set anew

Hot air
Cool breeze
Nature is filled with activity
Some choose to work
Some choose to play
Still others choose to live life to the fullest
Just as fast as the warm weather comes; it’s gone
Leaving as if a distant memory

Time slows
The north wind blows
Frost is visible in the near dawn
The young months that once were are now gone
Browning of leaves
Baring of trees
Even its its final days nature shows its beauty

The cold has set in
The terrain lays barren and peaceful
Life is left blank like the white sheets of snow
Rivers lay motionless, ceasing to flow
Some are left in resent for the time they once had
Some are left happy, thankful and glad
The signs of a new season start to appear
As time passes and the cycle continues year after year
