Am I Good At Dance?
"Dad, am I good at dancing."
Thinking about my daughter moving around in circles,
Following the path of the music,
Emotion running through her movements to the audience,
Making me wonder why she would think otherwise,
She makes me cry with happiness,
Jumping and leaping around the stage,
Amazing, stunning, shocking, and perfect,
Moving through the song,
Telling a story with her motions,
Loving the smile on her face,
Proud and happy she loves this beautiful art.
"You are good at dance." Comforting my daughter, hugging her. "You will always be amazing at dance."

It was an experience that I had one year in dance. I felt like I was not good and proceeded to ask my dad if I was good or not. He told me all of this.
