Who I Am
If you looked at me you would say
I am a Black,
Short,
Female.
I can say I am much more than that.
I am a student,
A writer,
A dreamer,
A believer.
I am a daughter,
A sister,
A friend,
And a cousin to many.
I am a book reader,
Show watcher,
Snack eater,
Nap taker.
But you probably wouldn’t get all of those things from looking at me.
Simply because my appearance does not fully embody who I am.
I am who I am and the only way to figure that out is to know me.
Not look at me.

I was inspired to write this piece because looks are not everything, and i wanted to put that down onto paper.
