The Light of the World
Even though the sun doesn’t always shine, it is always there.
Behind the clouds, and even in the night.
It is a constant.
Never fading.
Never failing.
A warm glow, a sphere of life.
Power for almost all things created.
Some say those who have never experienced a thrill are missing out on life, but that is not true.
Those who are really missing out are the deep sea creatures that never have seen a sunny day.
Those who are truly missing out are the cave dwellers that never have been so warm that it feels as if their insides are glowing.
Those who are always missing out are the nocturnal, because even though they have the moon, they will always live in the shadow of the sun.
The sun is the reason for life.
It can do harm, but for Earth, it is perfect in every way.
It glows, and shines, and gives out the greatest gift by just existing.
Touching and reaching out to all those who lift their hands and look to the sky.
