Manatees in Moonlight
Moonlight glistens through the night
Stars and planets, blissful flight
I read the sound of manatees calling
Splishing, splashing, ocean crawling
Fish and sea life float aside
The manatee is large and wide
Peaceful giants munch on leaves
The big mammal, his name is Steve
Factories give off pollution
Chilly blubber, new solution

This poem is inpired by the warm waters of Florida. When I visited Florida over spring break 2016, I was able to see manatees and many varieties of sea life.
