Reasons Why I Can’t Go To School Today

My feet are cold, my hands are sleeping, and
I’m laying in bed weeping.
It’s raining, it’s snowing, and it’s hailing outside,
so I can’t leave I must stay inside.
My homework isn’t done, plus school isn’t even fun.
I’ve got friends to hangout with, movies to see and
I need to finish this yummy cup of tea.
I’ve got snacks to munch on, laundry to fold
and why would anyone want to go out in the cold?
I love my bed, and my bed loves me,
so really that is all that I need.
