Actually, the best life you could have given her was a lifetime of adventures....

We are doomed!
The public asks why?
To this are replies
ones that are too theoretical to analyze practically
ones that are too twisted to separate
ones that are beyond the understanding of our limited knowledge
ones that the imagination cannot comprehend
We are a funny species indeed!
We celebrate restraint
Embrace normality
Reinforce ideology
And see unity in categorization
We bravo acts of valor
But aren't the ones that are applauded
We hold on to so many morals...
But in life are hypocritical philosophers
We all are either thinkers or dreamers
Applying solutions only to our own little world
We bend and shave
And smoothen and pave
What's really within...
We polish ourselves with the ordinary
How can we live our dreams if there is so much turmoil and chaos?
How will the sunlight pass through the dark to reach the ground?
Global warming, ozone layer depletion
Thievery and terrorism
They all are the same...
Don't you think so?
Well, we all go to prestigious conferences
Get to share a room graced by the presence of other dignitaries
Put forward a solution and shoot down anyone disagreeing with it
All the while we keep planning escape routes of our own!
We are all liars
A pack of foxes.
We understand the necessity of living together...
But still dream of living like a lion!
Today we live knowing that there's no hope for our generation
But still agree on giving hope to our grandchildren of a cure
Perhaps it's out of our love that we choose to blind reality
Or it's just another extension of fallacy...
And when we die and are taken to our graves
We still hold on to a belief that
The generations to come will find an antidote
To the damage we caused
To the diseases that we let free
To the spreading sorrow
When we opened Pandora's box
But in our hearts we know it only to well
That there's no escape from what is to happen tomorrow!
