She is one of the most feared places.
For there are cliques and popular kids.
Then there are us,
The Wallflowers or the Misfits
We get pushed around like we are nothing.
The ones that have to endure the sting of rumors,
And the aftershock of being last picked.
The ones that want to be accepted by society,
But society does not want people that walk to their own beat.
The walls within her are filled with hatred.
Every corner is another obstacle,
Hoping not to be seen by the enemy.
Friends come and save us,
Yet they stab us in the back.
So us wallflowers and misfits build our walls too high.
When saving seems to not be an option.

Until
One day
The day where we learn that there is good
In this corrupt world.
The day where one can walk the halls,
Without the fear of harassment or rejection.
The day where people learn compassion towards others.

This day is coming soon
It is just across the horizon.
The day where school will no longer be feared
