Reputations
Perceived differently by all.
New clique, new face.
New boundaries set.
Each day special
Unique and bursting with life,
Despite gloom gray clouds leave on Earth.
Those with the features of a Greek god could make a flower quiver.
A quick glance and,
like an earthquake, my knees shake furiously, threatening to buckle beneath.
Sliding that first impression into place
Giving away yet another face of my personal prism
Showing I’m intimidated by their chiseled features.
It’s clear I avoid their crystal gaze
walking past in a hurry, as if expected somewhere.
