The Present in hope for a better Future
The present is so far amazing
There have been many memories made
Some have been wonderful,
And other have been disgraceful
I cherish every cheerful memory, including the hurtful ones
I appreciate and value everything I currently have in my life
Friends and family are more important over anything
Although I am living a happy life
We all need to know,
The world is full of crime, hatred, and happiness
The present is not how I expected it
I image a world full of forgiveness
Not a world full of revenge
I image a society who Is united
Not a society whom criticizes each other
I imagine a world of no racism
A world where no crime will be involved
And Happiness will take over

What inspired me to write this poem was the view of our world today. it is not how I image it to be. I want our world and society to be different by the time I graduate from College and have my own little family. I want my fuure children to have a different image of the world.
