The Horseman

Dark skies
No lights
Except for a lantern
Lighting the nearby fern
The stomp of hooves
A horse head doesn't move
Eyes glowing red
Run in dread
A sword on the hip
Hilt held with an iron grip
Swing at the neck
Head hitting the deck
Putting the head in the bag
Reaching for his own to grab
Collecting as many heads as he can
That is the curse of the Horseman
