Frost
Jack Frost, as cold as ice and blue like the sky
Long, slender fingers that glitter with ice
His fingertips leave crystal swirls across my window
Little snowflakes forming
The arctic is the only place he could thrive
"Why do you leave frost and ice everywhere, Mr. Frost?" I ask
He simply looks at me and scratches his head,
"My dear, I must because without the snow and ice, the flowers would not be able to bloom in the spring."
