The Inside

Inside of my soul,
A body lies motionless.
I have suffered great pain,
And I have seen horrible things.
My mind and heart are corroded.
I hide behind a mask of happiness,
But on the inside,
I am full of rage and darkness.
I am dead on the inside,
And soon may be on the outside.
