Me in the Middle

Me in the Middle,
The middle is where I am.
Whether the likes of it likes me,
or whether I like the likes of it.
I don't like it,
I don't like any of it.
Each side against each other,
silently battling on my grounds.
I can't do much,
nor can I do anything.
I let it happen,
for I am weak and afraid.
They don't want me in the middle,
but I am here against my own will.
They'll never understand,
I can't leave the middle
because of them.
