it pains Her, that cold, remorseless decision —
for, an outward rip, or an unwanted stain
speaks nought of the forgotten mind within
yet only those in spotless garb remain

near the back, he poses, vacantly proud —
proclaims the father and the College whence he came
was to dictate truths and beauty to scattered ones, like Her,
or just never to be taken down, his aim?

and as She wades on through the forest of a thousands minds
She disposes of his body behind a tree and thinks —
how insignificant we really are
