What It's like to be Red?
The struggle, and agonizing pain
Scrounging through my soul
The burning of damaged hearts
That beat out of tenderness
The tang of warm metal and salt
Gliding out of my body
The coercion that is heard
The wounded trance of trepidation
That disfigures my thought
The losing of my inner self
Without the way of nature
The deranged mind
That fractures into pieces
The irate thoughts passing through
Demanding to be vocalized
The abused soul
That requests to be felt
