"Time"
Time
Time, time, time, time,
How melancholy sounds the rhyme.
As the sands, the sands of the hourglass,
Flow swiftly onward, swiftly pass.
Where I am is where I’ll stay,
I say, but nay,
For days to nights, and nights to days,
Bring about the dreaded change.
The change and time,
Together combine,
To form the whirlwind of life.
The sands of time, the winds of change,
I shout- but they have forgotten my name.
