A Message From the Storm
As thunder roars and crashes,
lightning strikes and burns.
The rain pours down heavily,
overpowering anything
existing below it.
The giant storm wouldn’t feel so big,
if you were here with me.
I scold myself for thinking of you;
I hope you’re in a better place.
I can’t help but think this storm is you-
thrashing through the sky.
I know you’re trying to talk to me,
tell me,
what it’s like to die.
