What Love Sees
One woman sees herself with eyes
so unforgiving
of all the natural flaws that compose her.
A definition of true beauty
forgotten to all but him.
This man sees her
not with distorted eyes,
but an open heart.
His passion for her–
his unrelenting love–
forced him to wrestle her immortal demons
WHO SCREAM
“You’re not beautiful.”
With his shimmering eyes he sees
one woman,
in all her grandeur,
who’s giggle or grin illuminates
the darkest of rooms
and causes a heart to
skip
a beat.
