Facade
In a kingdom driven by assets,
The emerald brick boulevard is just within her grasp.
Her incandescent nails and glossy heels covet it.
Her congested closets with lavish logos
Burst at the seams.
Madam’s compulsive inclinations contort into
Loneliness and false advertising.
The lustrous diamond decorates her neck,
Her milky collarbone protrudes discernibly,
Hovering above the chalky dress.
Vestiges saunter around the rotundas.
She bathes herself in the grandeur.
Her thin frame cloaked in moonlight and
Immortality.
Bills are flowing
from her crimson lips.
The façade!
She twirls
and spins
the dress aviates
and
Hallejulah!
She found love in tangibles!
