whatever little wonders
star-dressed
men with little red
hats
tidy kitchens and old furniture
the inhabitants of the world
you cannot fulfill my desires for I desire
nothing at all
I am full, the world has filled me with its
complacent silence,
and what is my job among the stars?
one must fulfill one’s duty and
one’s duty is to feel what is great,
cherish the beautiful
