A narrow door
A path, packs of wolves, chickens avoid.
I am 18 born on 1997 September 11.
If I was to die tomorrow on the very next
day my life’s dewey decimal would be as follows.
A path, packs of wolves, chickens avoid.
So much sin I shun from the light and am attracted to the dark.
Creamy white, or dripping dark.
The ink of me stains han ji* my home my enemy.
A path, packs of wolves, chickens avoid.
Cutting my heritage, my culture, my Meursault*.
Rose cut me, Vivien sings, my robber, my belief.
A path, packs of wolves, chickens avoid.
Today is a full moon and tomorrow is not a care.
Sniff at my footprint, eye my trail, and point my shadow.

*character from The Stranger by Albert Camus, existential hero
