Where im From
Being the first born and only child, I’m from a household of love.
With the love and care from just my mother I grew up to appreciate her.
With 17 years, almost 18 years, I’ve spent my days in an urban area.
The memories of a big hill still come to mind.
When it would snow I would spend the day sleighing down the hill.
Or even when it was summer I would like to ride my bike down it.
Feeling the nice breeze with my mother just watching from a distance.
Made me feel that I had everything I could ever ask for.
Memories from my first puppy still run through my mind.
The first expensive gift I ever got my mom when I was 8 years old.
The joy of seeing the family grow with a puppy made me feel more then great.
Each year kept getting harder and harder.
From learning to memorize certain phone numbers to learning how to drive.
The only person that was there for me was my mom.
For those reasons every single thing I do I always have my mom in mind.
Knowing that she is well and happy always comforts me.
The day before her birthday she gave birth to a baby boy.
And that baby boy was me, growing up to appreciate all the things she has done for me.
Always in mind I will always be grateful for where I’m from.
