Body.
I feel like a stranger in my own body.
As if you know my skin better than I do,
because
I feel like you see it more.
You learned how to strip me,
Before you learned your abc's.
A is for ass.
B is for boobs.
C is for
Calm the hell down it's only sex!
But it wasn't.
Not when I didn't have a voice to advocate for my own body.
Your mind is a twisted path of drunken thoughts,
Feeding your imagination on the words
"No."
and
"Stop."
But I'll tell you what.
A is for abuse.
B is for broken.
And C is for all the courage i was lacking to tell you to stop.
So thank you,
For teaching me that my body is
A wonderland.
And I was lucky,
To get someone like you to explore.
But I guess the scars were too much for you,
Along with the stretch marks,
Freckles,
And everything else that makes me
Human.
Deal with it.
