The Feeling of Nature
Flurries of snow in the wintertime,
They always melt in the spring.
Green plants grow during summer’s heat,
The cold of winter returns them to below.
Glitters, shines, raindrops on the window.
Someday they must dry.
Chirping, singing, the call of the lone bird.
He shall meet his dreadful fate.
Every year, all seasons,
Things changing all around.
Sometimes immense, maybe miniscule,
The evidence of differentiation is found.
Leaves rustle in the wind,
Skitter ‘cross the ground
A cricket croons his low love song,
Desperate at his attempt of courtship
I envision the separation that will someday come,
The change that’s bound to happen.
Outside there’s always Nature’s music,
Listen closely, the sounds are tame.
Can you feel as Nature calls?
Have you been outside as night falls?
Try the experience of Nature’s kiss
A feeling that is created to be missed....
