Want Her
Some say it’s a disease
Just cause my feelings never cease
she got my heart on a leash
I hear her call my name; I can’t help but freeze
I think again “Please, Robert, please!”
“Why is this so hard, It should really be a breeze!”
By the time I over-think, she’s gone with with the wind
Must be my fault, I must’ve sinned
Must’ve done something evil, Must’ve done something wrong
I turn around and the walk seems long
But I know I have to hurry, she’s already almost gone
Oh god, I feel weak, like somebody’s pawn
But I gather my strength and start to move on
I’m getting closer, and I call her name
Oh god, again, what if she thinks I’m a game
Anything’s better than this, I can’t put it out, not this flame
I build up the courage, and we start to talk
I tell her how I feel, and she feels the same!
Moral of the story, If you don’t try, you’re the only one to blame.
