When emotions were hard to express in speech,
I reached to the deepest corners of my mind
the place where my thoughts did reside i found,
There's a poem for all and each.

I had enourmous choice of words
Then i allowed my fancies to take flight.
words enough to put in verse and even curse.
Subtle shades of thought and hues of light

As the words flew and I expressed
As soon as the pen scribbled,
perhaps a poem was taking a form,
Understanding and thoughts quietly glidding along
I did realise now, those were my simple emotions,
I had once thought were hard to express, I have expressed

Crystal clear like black on white
my heart kept saying words are wind let them flow;
Do not think what is wrong or what is right,
What you think my dear, Let the world know!

Sure these words have power- You are no less than the god
As sharp as knife yet mightier than shimmering swords
Alas! These were my thoughts. This poem was done.
Then my heart said,
write another one just for fun!
