Satisfaction Is Like Nothing Else
That feeling when
you strike the ball,
the control is in your
command. Having a
bad day? Good day?
Any type of condition
internal or external
you can still play.
Everything around you
gone.
Everything around you
doesn’t matter.
Everything is now better.
That feeling when
it’s a bad day,
a bad grade,
bad weather.
You can still play.
The day is not over.
That feeling when
you watch the ball
in slow motion
soar through the air
as it lands in the
top corner.
Nothing else feels like that.
Hitting a homerun in baseball,
sinking the final putt in golf,
or listening to the swish from a three in basketball.
This is even better.
Not a sound.
Not a smell.
Just a feeling.
That feeling when
you are frustrated,
but you persevere.
And then it happens.
You make it.
