You came in the Fall

With Flashing Lights from Football Fields

And Warmth from Cable-Knits,

You paralyzed me this Winter

Frosty breath and minty kisses

Cheeks stained Red from cold air or excitement?

You're going to leave me this Spring,

Or Summer, if I'm lucky

You'll realize you only like my Skin

Under Flashing White Lights

And my lips,

Only when they taste like Peppermints
