I am from
I am from my bed, from tide detergent and perfume. I am from the tile white floors, warm febreze smell. I am from the funeral flower, the orange leaves. I am from movie night and church, from sister and grandma. I’m from smoking and drinking and gambling. I’m from going out to eat, from Milwaukee and Mississippi. Collard greens and dressing from my mom and sister, my sister wanted to sleep with my mom. Family pictures and love.
