As I went to bed late last night
An angel spoke to me with sudden fright
“Look out your window.” He said in my head
“There’s something to see before you bed.”
So I sat up and pulled back the curtain
Of what I’d find I was not certain
I thought “Is this a warning of danger outside?”
The then told me to peacefully abide
I looked out and to my relief saw nothing
And the angel said “Now let me tell you something.”
“Many a men fear what’s behind life’s curtain,
Instead of hearing the One who you can put your hurt in,
For when you trust what He tells you, you won’t be afraid,
Of what you may find beyond life’s curtain in your grave.”
